CINDY Founder & Owner When Cindy Nguyen opened her first nail salon in 1992, she brought over two decades of service expertise in fashion, retail and restaurants to the business. She developed a steady clientele with her philosophy of “making people happy.” She launched her original salon in Burien, later expanding to North Seattle, and then opening two salons on the Eastside. Currently she owns Cindy’s Salon on Mercer Island, which opened in 1997. Cindy’s Salon is a full-service salon specializing in creating beautiful nails and turning a manicure or pedicure into a relaxing escape from the busy pace of daily life. To complete Cindy’s spa experience, she offers professional waxing, skin care and tanning services. All use the highest quality equipment and products. After opening her Mercer Island salon, word quickly spread about her excellent service and personal attention. Cindy’s Salon became a gathering place for career women and retirees, moms, daughters and even men. Always attentive to what customers want, Cindy’s was the first nail salon on Mercer Island to open on Sundays, satisfying her customers’ desires to indulge in pampering every day of the week.
